We are relaunching monthly BARC meetings. We hope this will lead to interesting discussions, getting new people involved and reinvigorating the fight for animal liberation in Bristol.
These meetings will be friendly, informal and a time to get together with like-minded people.
The first meeting will be Thursday 26th November at 6:45pm (7pm start, finishing no later than 8:30pm) at Kebele Library, 14 Robertson Road, Easton….
Please come along if you’re interested in bringing some new ideas, have any questions or just want to get involved with BARC.
Some of the things we might be talking about are designing new banners, organising vegan outreach events, holding workshops and identifying any current animal issues that BARC might want to action.
Contact us to be added to our mailing list for alerts of future demos.
We did two vegan food sample stalls on Saturday – one in Broadmead, one on Gloucester Road. It was a brilliant day all round. The sun shone, we handed out 200 recipe sheets, spoke to some interested people about why we are vegan and got people thinking. It was a chance to promote vegan buddies, and most cleverly, we all forgot to take photos. If you have any of us, feel free to email them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll post them up!
