Bristol Animal Rights Collective showed the second UK screening of The Ghosts in Our Machine last night at the Nakba museum. Some people had even travelled from Exeter to watch it. Read more about the film.
Our next film will be at Kebele Social Centre in Easton on Friday 15 August – 6pm doors open for vegan fish and wedges, followed by a screening of Blackfish. Read more about the film.
We had load of fun in Bedminster yesterday, handing out free vegan food samples to some very lucky members of the public! There were some interesting conversations, and good feedback on what people tasted. People were very surprised at how moist the cakes were and couldn’t believe the pizza was gluten-free. Although there was a mixture of opinions about the oat milk, most people were really amazed at how tasty it was. We’re up for doing another in August. Email email@example.com if you’d like to get involved.
Discussion, film, food samples. For anyone wanting to become vegan, or simply wanting to find out more. Book via firstname.lastname@example.org
At Roll for the Soul Cafe, 2 Quay Street. We’ll be upstairs.
Wed 14 May from 6pm.

We hit the streets of Bedminster today to do a free vegan food sample stall. Loads of recipe sheets were handed out, along with coconut milk, Moo Free chocolate and a range of home made goodies which surprised people (wow – cake without eggs…). Nice one to those who cooked, took part on the day or visited our stall to pick up information and taste the delights!
